The missing paperclip

My friend, a PhD in France, called to ask me about an issue with AI. He couldn’t find the button to upload files to ChatGPT.

Long story short: he was on the free plan and there was NO button to upload stuff.

I was shocked. He was overwhelmed with work and had no idea on what he was missing out! Because he never tried the paid ChatGPT subscription.

But something BIG happened a few days ago.

• Data analysis: give it sheets and ask to give you insights

• File uploads: upload docs and ask it to write like you

• GPTs: put them to work, go and pick your favorites

• An AI that is 3 times smarter, remembers more.

There are 99 more use cases that were NOT available to you on the free plan.
