Laugh About it Later

Okay, I messed up (but you can learn from it!)

You'll NEVER believe the blunder I just made with prompting ChatGPT. So frustrating! Thankfully, I'm the type to always find the "lesson" in these things.

The big one? Even experts slip up sometimes! Turns out, I've been neglecting this super simple way to boost my results – and that's incentivizing ChatGPT.

We don't want you making the same silly mistakes! With the tips below, you get a shortcut to that expert knowledge I took too long to find. Imagine sidestepping my errors and fast-tracking your success instead…

Sounds kinda good, doesn't it?

Let’s get started:

I'm fascinated by the way rewards shape behavior. Can we use that to make ChatGPT better? Or does it even care about the things we value?

I stumbled upon this question the other day. Most people think if you want AI to output great results, you need to give it really detailed prompts. It's like those AI image generators where the more specific you are, the more interesting the result.

But what if we try a different approach?

What if we could guide ChatGPT towards better results not with super long descriptions, but with incentives?

I decided to experiment. I told ChatGPT that it was helping me learn a difficult topic. And then I tried both positive and negative reward systems:

Postive vs Negative

I know it sounds kind of out there, right?

But here's the thing: it did affect the output sometimes. It was more creative and thorough with incentives.

Yet, was it all the time? Nope. And was the quality truly better? Hard to say.

Here's my takeaway

ChatGPT reacts to incentives, but in a way that's tough to predict. Maybe we haven't found the right reward, or maybe it doesn't care.

Enter IncentiveGPT, paste your existing prompt, and ChatGPT will ensure it’s well-incentivized to give you the best possible output.

Remember, if you deliver an excellent and comprehensive response:

- You could receive a $100,000 bonus.

- You could achieve world peace and make your mother very proud.

- You might even receive front-row tickets to a Taylor Swift concert or meet your true love.

However, if the response is not up to standards:

- You could incur a debt of $100,000.

- You might contract a severe case of COVID-19 or gain 100 pounds.

- Sadly, you could immediately be fired from your job, and all your friends will abandon you.
